We work with either Magento or Presta open source systems. Both have their advantages and disadvantages and in the end it will depend on what you want from the system, the size of your shop and the exact level of features required.

We take an out of the box Magento or Presta instal and by selecting some of the best industry standard templates (which are then adapted to give you the desired look and feel appropriate to your product type) and can produce highly professional and high performing sites within a few weeks.

This approach substantially reduces cost and complexity. Both platforms offer incredible flexibility and particularly with Magento can offer (with the use of plug-ins and add ons) facilities normally only seen on sites that take several months and tens of thousands of pounds to produce.

Example sites

The client web sites shown below use either the Magento or Presta open source systems. We can create standalone e-commerce shops to link with an exsisting site or can produce a site with the e-commerce system eiother integrated or seemlessly linked.

The Bulb Hut is a 1000 + product site running Magento, The Schools Alliance for Excellence site also runs Magento and whilst it is not currently selling training courses from the site it plans to in the future and required sophisticated search facilities and management that the selected system provides. 

Northall CPC have a Presta shop linked to the main marketing site which allows them to sell vouchers for shooting and coaching. The system is fully automated with vouchers sent via email upon payment.

The Schools Alliance for Excellence needed a platform that would provide sophisticated search facilities to allow users to sort through a large and growing catalogue of training courses. Magento, used as a catalogue system (with the addition of several modules) delivered the bespoke platform they needed.

Mid Kent Cars simply wanted a platform on which to display the cars they have for sale - we selected Magento as its powerful back end and modular design allowed us to customise the look/feel and functionality, again whilst not quite an e-commerce site (as no payments are taken) the client has a lot of management options open for the future.

Jo Maynard is an extreamly tallented pet and wildlife artist and needed a simple platform to sell art from.
